A Conversation With Danny Aguilar
A Conversation With Danny Aguilar
Danny Aguilar has over 25 years of experience helping organizations increase their visibility, sponsorship revenue, and social media presence. He has worked as European Promotions Director for the International Organization Up With People and continues to work as the
Assistant General Manager and Director of Marketing for the Delaware State Fair
and other organizations creating marketing strategies for their events/festivals, and corporate sponsorship programs. Danny currently serves on the Lake Forest School District Board of Education, Kent County Tourism Board, and several local nonprofit boards throughout his community. He also is a proud member of IEBA and IAFE where he serves on the Entertainment Committee.
In this episode, Danny talks about the
key to success for smaller events: great partners!
The marketing staff of Delaware State Fair consists of two people, but, with great partners, like Saffire, they are able to do big things in a professional manner. He talks about the
crucial need to market to all generations and how a bit of trial and error is to be embraced.
It’s the only way to find out what works!
Danny shares a very simple way to track a key metric that will help sell sponsorship.
You won’t want to miss this one!
