Today, the Southeastern Livestock Exposition exists to support youth in livestock in Alabama. All proceeds from the annual rodeo event are poured back into Alabama's youth through the support of livestock shows, livestock judging contests, scholarships, FFA Foundation, Alabama 4-H, the Children's Miracle Network, the Alabama Junior Rodeo and the Alabama Junior and Senior High School Cinch Rodeo, among others.
When you come the SLE Rodeo, know that you are contributing to something much larger than a date night or family getaway. You are a first-hand participant in the education and preservation of the next generation of Alabama agriculture and continuing a legacy that started with a dream by a man named Jim Adams.
