Mercedez-Benz Superdome

1 of 1
The Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District (LSED) is a state agency/political subdivision comprised of seven members appointed by the governor of Louisiana. The board's primary purpose is to plan, finance, construct, develop, maintain and operate facilities located within the District for events of public interest. The LSED is responsible for the John A. Alario Sr. Event Center, Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Center, New Orleans Saints Training Facility, TPC Louisiana and The Shrine on Airline.

After studying the feasibility and costs associated with building a new stadium on the same downtown site, the major stakeholders determined that renovating the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was the best and highest use of private and public dollars. The fan amenity-driven modernization of the 44-year-old building will preserve an iconic state asset and allow it to remain competitive and useful for decades to come at a fraction of the cost of a new stadium.

Saffire was selected to help build a microsite promoting this exciting major project.
